Amsterdam Designer Tour
The tour is available as a private and corporate tour. We have morning tours including lunch and tours in the afternoon including dinner.
The tour starts in lobby of the Stedelijk Museum, it will take about 4 hours and includes:
- Curated tour through the Stedelijk Museum
- Private guide to take you to the designer
- Visits to a designer in his/her studio subject to preferences and availability
- Visit the famous Dutch Design shop Moooi, where we have a drink as well
- Lunch (morning tour) or early dinner (afternoon tour)
The tour ends at lunchtime or dinnertime at a restaurant of the new generation of chefs in Amsterdam, also depending on your preferences and taste.
An introduction to Dutch Design
The Amsterdam Design Tour is a perfect opportunity for you to get a first hand experience of the Dutch Design scene. The best place to start is the design department of the Stedelijk Museum. It houses the largest design collection in the Netherlands.
We will arrange meetings for you with a number of Dutch designers in their studios or at special locations. Meeting designers in their private home or workshop is a unique experience. They love to tell you how they work, and you will first hand experience the proces of design. Their passion is quite contagious!
We will personalize your visit based on your design preferences and will make it an inspiring experience you will always remember.
We pick you up at your hotel.
The tour ends in a restaurant of choice from where you are free to return to your hotel, or take a stroll through Amsterdam.
Tour Information:
A private guide will take care of all tour visits and logistics. The tour takes place on foot in any weather and involves a 5- to 15-minute walk between the different locations. Longer distances will be covered by taxi. Each design stop lasts about 60 to 75 minutes. In the restaurant the guest will be served a personalized meal and one beverage of choice – white or red wine, beer or a soft drink. Additional beverages must be paid in full by the guest to the restaurant at the time of the visit.
